EATECH lauded for new standards in gas pipeline management

The Minister of State Petroleum Resources (Gas), Mr Ekperikpe Ekpo, has praised Engineering Automation Technology Limited (EATECH) for its innovative solutions in gas pipeline infrastructure management in Nigeria.

During a visit to WrapMaster Global LLC, EATECH’s sister company in Houston, Texas, USA, Ekpo commended the company’s efforts in addressing complex challenges in the gas industry. He toured the product display office and showroom, where he viewed solutions for gas pipeline leak repairs, corrosion control, mitigation, and structural reinforcement manufactured by EATECH’s affiliate in the United States.

Ekpo lauded EATECH’s partnership with WrapMaster Global, noting its commitment to global excellence. “I am impressed by EATECH’s determination to push boundaries and set new standards in gas pipeline management,” he said.

“The solutions showcased during my visit demonstrate a deep understanding of Nigeria’s unique challenges and a commitment to providing cutting-edge technologies that can withstand various terrains, including onshore, swamp, offshore, and deepwater operating environments.”

He also noted EATECH’s significant investments in research and development, describing them as top-notch for delivering innovative pipeline management solutions.

EATECH’s Managing Director/CEO, Dr. Emmanuel Okon, credited the company’s success to its robust research and development efforts. “Our products are designed to address the specific challenges faced by Nigeria’s gas pipeline infrastructure,” Okon explained. “With our innovative solutions, we aim to protect, strengthen, and extend the lifespan of pipelines, ensuring seamless operations for up to 200 years.”

Okon thanked Ekpo for his visit, calling it proof of his commitment to supporting indigenous companies driving innovation in the gas industry. He also expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Petroleum Resources, the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), and industry operators for their support, enabling EATECH to compete globally with high-quality products.
