The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) has announced a fresh review of its service fees, with the new charges scheduled to take effect from August 1, 2025.

According to the Commission, the decision follows a comprehensive assessment of current economic realities, rising operational costs, and consultations with critical stakeholders.

In a public notice issued on Tuesday, the CAC said the adjustment aims to support its drive to provide more efficient, technology-driven services tailored to the needs of Nigerian businesses and the broader economy.

“The commission wishes to inform the general public, esteemed customers, and all stakeholders that, in the continued efforts to improve its service quality and delivery, it has become necessary to review certain service fees effective the 1st day of August, 2025.

“This decision follows the careful consideration of prevailing economic realities, rising operational costs as well as engagement of critical stakeholders ahead of implementation,” the notice read.

It further added, “The review is modest, competitive and aligns with our commitment to enhance service delivery through digitalised operations and maintain the integrity of the Nigerian Corporate Registry.”

Reaffirming its commitment to improved service delivery, the CAC stated that the revised fees are necessary to ensure sustainability and ongoing service enhancement.

“We remain committed to transparency, accountability, and customer satisfaction as we strive to build a more resilient and responsive corporate regulatory environment,” the commission said.

The updated fee structure will apply to services offered to companies, business names, limited partnerships, and incorporated trustees, and is expected to affect business owners, legal practitioners, compliance officers, and other stakeholders engaging with the CAC for post-incorporation and regulatory services.

It said the full list of reviewed fees is available on the commission’s website.
