A Nigerian, Collins Egwurugwu, has shared the joy of welcoming his long-awaited children, a set of twin boys, after 16 years of marriage.
Collins announced the birth on his Facebook page on Sunday, revealing that his wife gave birth a day earlier, on Saturday.
In his post, he reflected on the challenges he and his wife faced over the years, describing periods of doubt, emotional struggles, and pressure from family and society.
He also shared his relief and gratitude for the arrival of the twins.
He wrote, “16 Years…. Hmmmmmm. It wasn’t an easy ecision. To stay, to hold, not to give up….
“16 years of pain, doubts, tears, worries, anxiety, questions,etc…
I felt like I did something wrong, I asked myself what did I do? Countless of child dedications I attended.
“I prayed for forgiveness of sins, pressures everywhere. A lot came to mind, I don’t want to walk in the path of my father.
“But God came through for me, na stick I drop, iron float. He showed me with mercy, he watered my seed and gave me increase, he denied the enemy their plans, God showed me grace!”
Collins also expressed joy at his new role as a father, referring to himself as “Papa Twins,” and thanked God, his wife, and those who supported him throughout the long wait.
“Today, I am a proud father of two baby twin boys. Yesterday, 29th November 2025, she put to birth two lovely boys.
“I came back to give him glory, I came back to thank him for mercies,
“My name na Papa Twins. Wow Congratulations to me
Congratulations to my dear wife, Queen Collins, the mother of my lovely twins, Children dedication loading.”
