Stars Gather for ‘Love and New Notes’ Premiere

Nollywood actor Timini Egbuson recently hosted a star-studded evening as ‘Love and New Notes’ premiered at Filmhouse IMAX, Lekki, drawing leading figures from film, music and media in celebration of Nigerian cinema.

The premiere attracted notable guests including Don Jazzy, Funke Akindele, Lateef Adedimeji and Lil Kesh, alongside industry stakeholders, media personalities and film enthusiasts.

Produced by Muyiwa Idowu,  co-produced by FilmOne Studios, and directed by Kayode Kasum, ‘Love and New Notes’ plot explores love, choice and consequence, examining the emotional and social realities that shape human relationships. That evening, the screening drew strong audience reactions and sparked conversations around its emotional depth and contemporary relevance.

Egbuson said the audience’s emotional connection reaffirmed the intention behind the film. Director Kayode Kasum noted that the project was built on honesty, emotion and collaboration, with the goal of sparking reflection on love, growth and life choices.

The cast members also joined the star-studded lineup, including Eniola Badmus, Odunlade Adekola, Akinyoola Ayoola, popularly known as Kamo State, Sophie Alakija, among others.

The premiere doubled as an expression of self-expressions, with guests embracing bold fashion inspired by the film’s ‘80s ‘Love and Crime’ theme.

‘Love and New Notes’ is in cinemas nationwide.
