The season of rains is here. For this year particularly, the rains will be heavy. It’s a time to make extra efforts to look good and sassy at all times, especially when going to work and for social outing. Certain beauty routines should not be taken for granted. These few tips would be beneficial to stay fresh all through the season.
•Cleansing: High humidity attracts dirt, leading to clogged pores. Use a gel-based, alcohol-free face wash twice a day to remove impurities without stripping natural oils.
•Hydration: Swap heavy creams for water-based moisturizers so your skin stays hydrated without feeling greasy.
•Sunscreen: UVA/UVB rays penetrate gloomy, cloudy skies. Always use a mattifying or gel-based sunscreen. It is pertinent to have sunscreen always in your handbag.
•Mask: Use a clay mask once a week to absorb excess oils and tighten pores.
In getting ready, you should use ideal makeup:
•Prep your skin with a water-based primer to create a smooth, breathable barrier before applying any makeup.
•Avoid thick layers of foundation. Use a tinted moisturizer or a BB cream, blending it in thin layers.
•Creamy products are likely to run and leave a mess if you get caught in the rain. Switch to powder-based foundations and blushes for a long-lasting, matte finish and opt for waterproof mascaras and smudge-proof eyeliner.
