Nigerian gospel singer Sister Ifeoma Onuh has returned to active music ministry after spending more than a decade focused on family responsibilities.
The Enugu-born artiste began her music career in 2004 with the release of her debut album, Drybone Shall Rise Again.
She later released other projects, including a collaborative album with The Precious Kids and a feature involving Chioma Onuh. She also released the EP Everlasting Praise.
Following her marriage to Donatus Onuh of Oduma in Aninri Local Government Area of Enugu State, the gospel singer reduced her public musical activities as she focused on raising her family and caring for her four children.
After years away from the music scene, Onuh made her return in 2020 with the release of Scandal Mongers, a song inspired by personal experiences and societal challenges.
Since then, she has released a number of songs, including The Mighty Man, Obi Mgbawa, Sunana, and Oke Nduru. Other projects released in subsequent years include Chukwu Azawom, I Jump and Pass, Ide Ji-Uno, and I Will Testify.
In 2026, she added two new songs, Sweet Mother and Blessings (Ngozi), to her growing catalogue of gospel music.
Speaking about her return to music, Onuh said she remains committed to using her songs to convey messages of faith, worship and encouragement.
Her return comes after a lengthy absence from the industry, during which she balanced family responsibilities with preparations for a renewed music career.
The singer continues to record and release gospel music while maintaining her role as a wife and mother.
