Controversial Nigerian musician, Portable has spoken out about his disagreement with colleague Zlatan Ibile.

In a recent interview with the EchoRoom podcast, the ‘Zazoo Zeh’ hitmaker labeled Zlatan as a “bad friend” to both himself and the late singer Mohbad.

Portable also criticised Zlatan’s “behaviour towards Mohbad,” claiming that he posted a video of their colleague being “attacked” by Sam Larry but “failed to speak out against the incident”.

“He is a bad friend. He was a bad friend to Mohbad and he was a bad friend to me. That is Zlatan. Zlatan is an upcoming artiste. People can even know Zlatan’s face, but they do not know his songs,” he said.

“There is a man I usually buy cars from. When I went to change my car for my birthday, he told me that I should not even have answered Zlatan, that he just wanted to use my grace. I told him that I did not really know his songs.

“There are artistes that are very wealthy, yet no one knows the lyrics of their songs. May God rest Mohbad’s soul, he was a good singer; they deceived him before they killed him and they cannot do that to me.

“I did not say that it was Zlatan who deceived him, but there is something he did that was very bad. Why did he post where Sam Larry went to attack Mohbad, but it was later found out that he was present? Why did he not stand against them?”.
