Kaduna Electric has been awarded the International Standard Organisation ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 certifications by Bluestar Management Systems, a leading Nigerian certification authority.

The distribution company’s Board Chairman, Alhaji Aminu Abubakar Suleiman, accepted the certifications and praised the dedication of management and staff in reaching this milestone.

He encouraged the team to sustain their commitment to excellence, positioning Kaduna Electric as a standout performer among Nigeria’s electricity distribution firms.

He, however, challenged everyone to work diligently towards maintaining and improving the processes and standards set.

Bluestar Management Systems’ representative, Engr. Ibrahim Sadoh, underscored the rigorous compliance process undertaken by Kaduna Electric to secure the certifications.

He applauded the collective efforts of the board, leadership, and employees for swiftly meeting the stringent requirements.

Explaining the significance of the certifications, Engr. Sadoh noted that by achieving the ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001, the company’s robust Environmental Management System ensures operations align with global sustainability practices.

He added that it also recognises the implementation of Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems, safeguarding adherence to international workplace safety standards and reflecting globally benchmarked processes for consistent service delivery.
