Grammy award-winning singer Burna Boy has said that Nigerian music industry gatekeepers are trying to break him.

Burna Boy made the claim while reacting to a viral video, where veteran music executive, Obi Asika, disclosed that the industry’s gatekeepers tried to frustrate the ‘Ye’ crooner’s career before he became known globally.

Reacting in the comments section, Burna Boy shared that those involved are still trying to break him.

He added that their efforts only resulted in the creation of an unquenchable fire that will burn them eternally.

“This is not even half of the story. They did everything they possibly could to break me. They are still trying their best. Lol.

“But all they did was create this unquenchable fire that will continue to burn them for eternity,” Burna Boy penned.
