The joyous spirit of Easter Sunday took an extra layer of celebration as Nollywood sweetheart Ibiwari Etuk officially tied the knot with her beloved colleague, Praise Gladson Jedy.

In a recent interview with Saturday Sun, the radiant bride couldn’t contain her happiness as she shared the beautiful reasons behind choosing to build a life with someone who understands her world.

“Yes, I married my colleague. Prince Praise‑Gladson Jedy Agba is my best friend, my crown, my king, my priest—and now, my husband. On Easter Sunday, he honoured me in marriage and made my father, Anietie Etuk, beam with pride. He’s also brought joy to the people of Ikot Abasi in Etinan LGA of Akwa Ibom State.”

Recounting the surprise proposal that led to this union, the Seven Rivers Star actress laughed at the memory: “We’d just wrapped a shoot when he asked me to help him reserve a hotel room for his brother, who was visiting. I was exhausted and makeup‑free, so I slipped on the nearest shoes and followed him without a second thought. Dressed casually himself, he raised no suspicions. Then, to my utter astonishment, I walked straight into my engagement setup. That night remains more magical than I ever imagined.”

When asked for her take on celebrities sharing private moments on social media, Ibiwari offered a thoughtful perspective. “It’s a personal decision to express their feelings. Some may do it for validation, while others are probably seeking better understanding if and when misunderstandings arise, depending on the circumstances.”
