“Ebiren Oliuwa Prosi Prosi” (Women Are Still Flourishing), a compelling new exhibition by rising Itsekiri artist Tiffany-Annabelle, opened on Friday, April 25, and will run until May 17. This significant body of work aims to captivate audiences at AMG Projects in Lekki, Lagos, as it explores the vibrant themes of womanhood, celebrating its inherent joy, growth, and unwavering optimism through the lens of the artist’s rich Niger Delta heritage.

At the core of this artistic exploration lies Tiffany-Annabelle’s deep connection to her Itsekiri roots. Her canvases are adorned with a vivid tapestry of flora unique to the Niger Delta region. Lush arrangements of hibiscus, African orchids, and frangipani cradle the women she portrays, often depicted nude or in intimate moments.
