My uncle is the best Governor Osun ever had – Davido

Nigerian artist David Adeleke, often known as Davido, claims that his uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke, is the best governor Osun State has ever had.

He stated that some criticised him because he enjoys dancing, but he has proven himself via his performance in the state.

Davido appeared on a recent edition of Culture Knock Out, hosted by Chris and Baloo.

He said, “My uncle, the Dancing Governor is good vibes. He has an amazing story, he is the last born of my dad’s family. They [Osun people] never believed that he would become a governor.

“He is a real example of, ‘Don’t judge a book by its cover’; just because somebody likes to dance and have a good time, it doesn’t mean when it is time to work, he won’t. Now, he’s been the best Governor that they’ve ever had.”
