Princess Chidinma Agunobi, a captivating Nollywood actress affectionately known as Princess Salt, is back and ready to spice up the silver screen once again. The multi-talented beauty, recently sat down with Saturday Sun to shed light on her brief hiatus from the movie industry and her refreshingly independent stance on marriage.

“Yes, I took a break off screen to recuperate, relax, and replan. I missed the fun on set and taking instructions from the directors. But I’m fully back now, ready to explore more,” she stated.

On marriage and societal pressure, Princess Salt reassured that she’s not falling for any sort of pressure to start a family.

According to her, “When God was making plans to bring me to this world, He didn’t announce it to anyone nor seek their validation. So, I don’t allow anyone or anything to pressure me. I am not against others getting married, whatever rocks anyone’s boat is fine.”

Responding to the controversial topic of celebrities being accused of ‘snatching’ people’s partners, Princess Salt didn’t mince words. “No responsible man can allow himself to be snatched from his family by a celebrity or whosoever, except it’s for another reason,” she stated firmly.

Looking ahead in her career, the Ride Or Die star actress expressed a desire to break away from her established on-screen persona. “Oh, yeah! I want to try other characters because I’ve been known as the villain in movies, so it’s time to switch it up. I have interest in portraying a mad character, a lover girl, and even a bad escort babe.”

With ritual killings and social vices on the rise among Nigerian youth, Princess Salt offered heartfelt advice to young girls. “Keep your head up. Be prayerful, careful, diligent, and consistent in your work,” she urged.
