Multidisciplinary legal and brand expert Bamidele Olamilekan, widely known as King Pexxie, has been officially inducted as a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants (FIMC) by the International Council of Management Consulting Institutes (ICMCI), through IMC-Nigeria, in a prestigious ceremony held on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at Lagos Travel Inn, Ikeja, Lagos.
The honor represents the highest level of professional recognition in the consulting industry, both locally and globally, further validating Bamidele’s exceptional contributions to legal innovation, brand development, and cross-sector business strategy.
“Becoming a Fellow isn’t just a personal accolade, it’s a declaration that strategic, ethical, and multidisciplinary thinking from Africa belongs on the world stage,” Bamidele said following his induction.
“Through law, branding, and hospitality, I’ve always tried to bring clarity and structure to chaos. This moment affirms that work and calls me to raise the standard even higher.”
The Institute of Management Consultants Nigeria (IMC-Nigeria) is one of only two ICMCI-accredited institutes in Africa, alongside IMC South Africa, and the only one in West Africa. Through its global affiliation with the ICMCI, it provides a pathway for African professionals to earn globally respected certifications and fellowships in management consulting.
As Principal Partner at Lekan Bamidele & Co., Bamidele has carved a niche in corporate, IP, tech, and entertainment law. At the same time, his work as a brand strategist for hospitality powerhouses like The Glass House and Secrets Palace has established him as a creative force in lifestyle and culture.
“This fellowship is a bridge, not just between Nigeria and the world, but between professions. I hope it inspires others to own their complexity, build boldly, and pursue excellence without compromise.”
His induction into the FIMC class now formally connects him to the global ICMCI network of elite consultants across over 50 countries, providing opportunities for collaboration, global benchmarking, and high-impact consulting across sectors.
