From Scholastica Hir, Makurdi

An upcoming music artist from Benue State, Aondona Felix Sesugh, aka Fnvy, is set to storm the music scene with his latest hit song EP.

The EP, which will be released in a few days’ time, is expected to enjoy extended media airplay both on digital platforms and conventional media across the country.

The 23-year-old music talent started his journey in music in 2018, while still a JSS 3 student at Makurdi International College (MIS). He got together with other classmates of like minds, and they came out with the first hit single titled “Shower Me Your Love”.

He did not end there; he continued to hone his talent in the university as a student of Media and Theatre Arts at the Federal University, Lafia.

At age 23, he already has seven hit singles to his credit.

Felix Sesugh Aondona could have inherited his passion from his father, a veteran journalist, Aondona Henry, who at one time in his early years was a disc jockey.

Incidentally, Aondona’s role model is David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido. He said he is fascinated by Davido’s afro style of classical music, his humility, creativity, kind-heartedness, and ability to mobilise the youths when the need arises.

Fnvy disclosed that the album, set to be released on June 15, 2025, has soul-lifting songs with an infusion of storytelling.

The singer noted that he has eight EPs to his credit, which include ‘Shower Me With Your Love’ (2018), ‘Waka-Waka’ (2019), “All For The Money” (2020), and “Carolina” (2021).

Other title tracks, including “Overdose”, “Rora”, and “Hello”, are some of the latest this year.

Starting off early in music, according to him, shows his passion for music, as his dream is to become a global brand with songs that will appeal to all strata of society.
