Rwandair has partnered organisers of Accra Weizo to promote travel and tourism in Africa.

RwandAir has served the vibrant city of Accra, Ghana, since July 2013. The airline operates a Boeing 737 on this route, providing three weekly flights on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. This route is vital for connecting Ghana to various destinations within RwandAir’s network across Africa, Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and beyond.

Through its main hub at Kigali International Airport, RwandAir offers seamless travel opportunities for passengers, further enhanced by its strategic partnership with Qatar Airways, which significantly broadens its global reach.

Additionally, in Ghana, RwandAir has collaborated with Africa World Airlines to improve connectivity within the West African region, ensuring travellers can easily access an expanded network of flights. This dedication to service and partnership highlights RwandAir’s crucial role in promoting both regional and international travel.

Accra Weizo is the West African Travel Expo organised since 2015 by Akwaaba African Travel Market in Ghana. It aims to promote seamless travel in West Africa. The 8th Edition will be held on the 27th of June 2025 in Ghana. It is organised in partnership with the Ghana Tourism Authority, GTA and the Ghana Tourism Development Corporation, GTDC. Tour Operators from across West Africa will be attending the Tour Operators forum at the Fair.

Also, the prestigious Royal Senchi Hotel and Resort will be partnering with Akwaaba African Travel Market for the 8th edition of the Accra Weizo Travel Conference. The Royal Senchi, renowned as one of West Africa’s premier luxury destinations, is playing a pivotal role in this year’s event. Located along the serene banks of the Volta River in Akosombo, Ghana, the resort is celebrated for its fusion of nature, traditional design, and modern hospitality. The Royal Senchi’s collaboration with Accra Weizo also underscores its commitment to fostering regional tourism development and providing a world-class experience for all participants at the landmark travel fair.
