EMCOAN gears up for NEMCEA 2025

The fourth edition of the Nigeria Electronic Media Content Exhibitions and Awards (NEMCEA) will hold from September 17-18, 2025, at Radisson Blu Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos.

Organised by Electronic Media Content Owners Association of Nigeria (EMCOAN), the event will attract the brightest and most influential players across television, radio, film, digital content, advertising and media buying from across the country and beyond.

According to the EMCOAN president, Mr. Adeniji Omirin, “NEMCEA in its fourth edition has become the definitive platform for showcasing, networking and celebrating excellence in Nigeria’s vibrant electronic media landscape. NEMCEA 2025 promises to be bigger, bolder and even more impactful than the past three editions.”

At this year’s NEMCEA, there will be high-impact exhibitions, showcasing the best of Nigerian electronic media content and production capabilities. Also, an inspiring panel session would feature thought leaders and change makers from across the media value chain.

There will equally be strategic networking opportunities with decision-makers in content licensing, media buying, advertising, brand management, and regulatory bodies.

The NEMCEA Awards – a glamorous ceremony recognizing excellence, innovation and outstanding contributions to Nigeria’s media and creative sectors, will cap it all.

Mr. Alayande Stephen, Project Director, NEMCEA 2025, revealed that this year’s central theme is ‘Sustainable Content Creation In A Fragmented Media Landscape’.

Other topics include audience engagement in an attention-scarfed world, building loyal community and creating interactive experiences, collaboration across the media and marketing ecosystem, monetization of African content, and emergence of technology-driven storytelling and distribution.
