A bold new voice in African cinema has arrived. MYSTICUM Studios, founded by Nigerian filmmaker and director Samuel Ojetola, is officially unveiling its first original production: If Light Ever Comes. Currently in post-production, the film promises a haunting and poetic story that blends emotion, mystery, and visual beauty, marking the beginning of the studio’s journey to redefine supernatural storytelling in Nigeria and beyond.

Founded in 2024, MYSTICUM Studios was created to craft thought-provoking and boundary-pushing films that leave a lasting impression. If Light Ever Comes is the first of many planned projects, offering audiences a glimpse into the studio’s vision: immersive stories with strong emotional themes and mystical elements that speak to both local and global viewers.

“This film is very personal to me,” says Samuel Ojetola, CEO and founder of MYSTICUM Studios. “It explores the quiet battles people fight within, wrapped in mystery and silence. We wanted to create something beautiful but unsettling, something that stays with you. If Light Ever Comes is not just our debut; it’s our declaration of what we stand for.”

More updates on the film’s release and official trailer will be shared in the coming weeks. As MYSTICUM Studios takes its first step into the industry, audiences are invited to follow the journey and prepare for a new kind of cinematic experience, one where the unseen becomes unforgettable.
