The first edition of an art exhibition titled ‘Canvas & Cocktails’ is set to hold from July 19th to 25th at Spotlight Creative Hub, Victoria Island, Lagos. This show offers a blend of visual art and social interaction, inviting artists and audience into an intimate atmosphere of creative conversation. The event will feature an art demonstration where visitors can sip on cocktails specially crafted to complement the themes or colours of the artworks.

The interactive element of this exhibition would invite guests to enjoy both visual and sensory experiences, fostering a dynamic atmosphere for art lovers and cocktail enthusiasts alike. This event aims at blending the worlds of visual art and mixology, with a curated collection of artworks displayed alongside a range of signature cocktails inspired by the exhibition. The exhibition, organised by NK Art space, is done in collaboration with Rizzulenation and Spotlight Creative Hub.

Indeed, Nancy Keshinro, the CEO of NK Art space has built her experience over the years as an artist cum curator having a track record of curating successful exhibitions. Nancy aims to elevate ‘Canvas & Cocktails’ as a thoughtfully curated, multicultural gathering — showcasing art, encouraging dialogue, and providing networking over refreshing cocktails. The exhibition will feature emerging artists whose styles are of different diversity and mediums while featuring master artists like Lemi Ghariokwu and Ken Nwadiogbu as guest artists.

Private viewing of the works will be on the 18th July, 2025 strictly by invitation while the opening ceremony of the main exhibition starts on 19th July, 2025 for the general public.
