UK-based Nigerian gospel music minister, Oluwatoyin Oyekan, popularly known as ‘Tohyeen’, has released a brand-new worship single titled, “E Tobi”, a deeply moving Yoruba expression which translates to “God is Great”.

Known for her powerful vocals, deeply spiritual lyrics, and unwavering commitment to delivering authentic worship, Tohyeen takes “E Tobi” a notch higher making it a heartfelt anthem of praise that exalts the Most High God.

The song celebrates His unmatched greatness, unfathomable majesty, and enduring love for mankind. The track masterfully weaves contemporary gospel with rich indigenous Nigerian sounds and invites worshipers to acknowledge the sovereign power of God in their lives, homes, and across the Nations.

Speaking about the inspiration behind the song, Tohyeen said, “E Tobi”, came from a place of deep reflection on the wonders of God. His greatness is beyond what we can imagine or articulate. I wanted this song to be a pure offering of worship, lifting hearts to adore the One who reigns forever.

“Yes, our daily struggles are real but when we come before His presence in worship, He fills us with so much love and peace and lifts the heavy burden from our shoulders. None compares to Him for He alone can do the impossible.”

Tohyeen continues to impact lives positively through her music ministry and with previous releases that have hitherto blessed audiences across the United Kingdom, Nigeria and beyond, “E Tobi” is with certitude another powerful addition to her growing repertoire of spirit-lifting songs.

What’s even more remarkable about “E Tobi” is Tohyeen’s decision to dedicate the proceeds from the song’s streams and downloads to organisations supporting women battling fibroids. This will run for the next five years, thus displaying kingdom life attributes of compassion, kindness, and sacrificial giving.

Fibroid has been overlooked despite its devastating effects on fertility, career prospects, and quality of life. According to the Office of Women’s Health (OASH) USA, “About 20 to 80 per cent of women develop fibroids by the time they reach age 50”. Tohyeen’s unwavering support will undoubtedly help alleviate the pains of countless women who are suffering in silence.

As her voice declares “God is Great,” listeners aren’t just hearing music; they become part of the miraculous change, where the Most High turns their innermost pain into joy, hurt into victory and helplessness into fulfilled dreams.
