Nollywood actress, model, and entrepreneur Lilian Okolie has steadily made a name in Nigeria’s entertainment industry, captivating audiences with her charm, talent, and distinctive tattoos. However, beyond the spotlight, the mother of one reveals her thoughtful approach to love and life, prioritising peace and privacy over public scrutiny. While many celebrities openly flaunt their relationships online, Okolie shared with Saturday Sun her plans for a secret wedding.

“I want my wedding to be private. They say you protect what you love, and I’m just protecting my relationship by keeping it private. I even plan to have a secret wedding when the time comes, something small and intimate, with only people I truly love,” she stated.  Known for her stylish looks and noticeable ink, Lilian admits to having numerous tattoos, at least ten or more. “My tattoos represent love and strength. I recently tattooed my man’s name, which made him very happy. Each mark on my skin tells a story, reflecting my emotional depth and the experiences that have shaped my life and identity.”

Looking back at her career, Lilian expresses no regrets. She said: “To be sincere, I have no regrets. If I had the opportunity to write my story, I would do it with the same energy. Everything I’ve experienced has made me who I am today.”

The Enugu State indigene shared some of her most embarrassing moments as a filmmaker, recalling an incident early in her career during an Igbo-language production titled Obi Nwanyim. “I couldn’t deliver my lines in Igbo properly, and the director was disappointed. I was told to go home and study my script better, which made me feel embarrassed. But instead of giving up, I sought help from a football-loving friend who is fluent in Igbo, and my determination paid off. That film ended up being nominated for the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards. Today, I’m proud to say I’m one of the best Igbo actresses.”
