In a world where ancestral traditions often intertwine with deep-seated spiritual bondage, The Macedonian Call, a new Christian drama by renowned filmmaker and missionary Felix Bankole, emerges as a timely, soul-stirring tale of faith, freedom, and divine purpose.

Set against the spiritual backdrop of Nigeria’s faith landscape, The Macedonian Call explores the haunting reality of a man unknowingly living under captivity, a bondage masked by kindness and generosity.

When Pastor Audu, played by Bankole himself, and his assistant entered his life, their presence triggers a powerful chain of events.

The film shines a spotlight on the age-old battle between light and darkness. Rich in spiritual symbolism, it doesn’t shy away from portraying the unseen war for human souls. Through gripping scenes of prayer, confrontation, and deliverance, the story becomes a beacon for those trapped by traditional religious practices and generational curses.

Produced by Vision Drama Missions Outreach International in partnership with NOSPLEJ Media Lagos, The Macedonian Call stands out for its high production quality, sincere performances, and deeply engaging message. Beauty Chukwuka co-produces and plays Mrs. Pelumi, alongside a strong cast including Yemi Bankole, Tolu Adegbo Israel, and others.

Premiering for free on Sunday, July 20, 2025, the film offers more than entertainment. It offers a heartfelt reminder that God still calls, and someone, somewhere, must answer.
