5 things you need to know about BBNaija season 10

Fans are getting excited since Nigeria’s most popular reality TV program, Big Brother Naija 2025 Season 10, is almost here. Everyone is looking forward to the drama, the gbas gbos, the love triangle, true and fake friendships, the aprokos, and all the wahala that will take place at Biggie’s house.

Daily Sun brings to you 5 things you need to know about Big Brother Naija season 10.

  1. Premiere and Duration

BBNaija Season 10 premieres with a double launch on Saturday, July 26, and Sunday, July 27, 2025, at 7 PM WAT. The season will run for approximately 10 weeks (71 days), culminating in a grand finale on Sunday, October 5, 2025. It will be broadcast on Africa Magic Showcase, Africa Magic Family, DStv Channel 198, GOtv Channel 49, and Showmax for 24/7 live streaming.

  1. Record-Breaking Grand Prize

The winner will receive a ₦150 million grand prize, the largest in BBNaija history, marking a 50% increase from Season 9’s ₦100 million. There’s a twist, however, as the winner may risk losing part of the prize money due to new game mechanics.

  1. Physical Auditions Return

For the first time since 2020, Season 10 held in-person auditions in Lagos, Abuja, and Enugu from May 16–18, 2025, following online registrations from May 3–7. The process aimed to select dynamic personalities reflecting Nigeria’s cultural diversity, with a rigorous selection to ensure engaging housemates.

  1. Cultural Milestone and Host

Marking a decade of BBNaija, Season 10 celebrates the show’s impact, having featured 197 housemates and awarded ₦637 million in prizes over nine seasons. Ebuka Obi-Uchendu returns as host, steering the show through its drama, evictions, and cultural moments.

  1. Sponsorship and Accessibility

Major sponsors like Guinness Nigeria, Smirnoff, Pepsi, and others are back for the new season, ensuring a vibrant production.
