Max-Migold Limited has announced that the 25th batch of its Facility Management Master Craft Programme (FMMC), is aimed at addressing the shortage of formally trained professionals in Nigeria’s facility management sector.

The programme, which is set to commence on August 11, 2025, is designed to equip participants with practical skills across areas such as asset management, sustainability, project coordination, and energy efficiency.

Despite the sector expanding by over 15 per cent annually driven by the rapid development of commercial real estate, increasing demand for energy efficiency, and the professionalisation of building services, the firm notes that less than 35 per cent of facility managers in Nigeria had received formal training.

Speaking ahead of the programme, Managing Director of Max-Migold, Paul Erubami highlighted the firm’s commitment to training globally competitive professionals within the sector. He noted, “Our goal is to produce facility managers who are not only technically competent but are also strategic leaders ready to manage complex assets across Nigeria and Africa.” Paul added that since its inception, the FMMC programme has trained over 700 participants drawn from sectors including construction, healthcare, oil and gas, education, and finance.

“Organisations such as FrieslandCampina WAMCO, CBRE Excellerate, Julius Berger Facilities Management, and Promasidor have enrolled staff in past editions.”

Participants in batch 25 will be trained on modules covering facility strategy and planning, compliance, lifecycle asset management, energy systems, smart building technology, and vendor coordination.

Graduates will receive a nationally recognised certification aligned with ISO standards and accredited by the Oil and Gas Trainers Association of Nigeria (OGTAN).

According to him, additional features of the programme include access to recorded lectures, flexible payment options, field visits, job placement support. “Early applicants are eligible for a 10 per cent discount,” he said.

“Our alumni are leading change across Nigeria’s critical infrastructure; from manufacturing plants and commercial towers to hospitals and educational institutions,” Erubami added. This is even as he announced that applications were ongoing via the FMMC portal.
