Chidinma Ekile, a Nigerian gospel musician, has shared details about a deeply personal spiritual journey that included solitude, fasting, and prayer.

The former Project Fame winner said that she spent 40 days in solitary, seeking heavenly guidance and having powerful spiritual experiences.

She described the period as one of emotional turmoil, fervent prayer, and intense internal conflict.

Chidinma stated that she spent her nights outdoors, expressing herself to God via music and prayer.

She described the experience as intensely personal and noted that it provided an unprecedented sense of God’s presence.

During her stay on the mountain, the singer described a particularly harrowing experience in which she felt spiritually vulnerable and was confronted by a malevolent force.

She described standing at the edge of a cliff, urged by a compelling voice to jump. However, she said an invisible force intervened and blocked her path, ultimately preventing what could have been a fatal act.

“It was more like I was in a theatre and God performed surgery on me and He shredded me. I have seen it all, and material things don’t move me anymore.

“The enemy came to me to take me out of there before my time. The devil took me to the top of a cliff at night where everywhere was dark. And right there, He asked me to jump. The voice was so strong.

“When I was about to jump, I noticed that I was barricaded and It was impossible to jump. Something was just there,” she said.

Chidinma’s testimony has since stirred reactions among her followers, many of whom praised her candour and spiritual resilience.
