Turkish giants Galatasaray are preparing to turn the unveiling of Victor Osimhen into a financial masterstroke, with the event projected to generate around €5 million (₦8.5 billion) in combined ticket sales and merchandise revenue.

The Nigerian forward, signed from Napoli in a record €75 million deal, will be officially presented at RAMS Park on Saturday, August 2, ahead of a pre-season friendly clash against Lazio.

According to Turkish outlet Fotomac, the Istanbul-based club is banking on “Osimhen mania” to help offset a portion of the blockbuster transfer fee. The club will also unveil Leroy Sané at the same event.

Tickets for the double unveiling have been set at a premium, with the cheapest seats priced at 1,300 Turkish Lira (₦49,000). A full house is expected, as fans look forward to witnessing the arrival of one of Africa’s top football stars.

Galatasaray set to generate billions from Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen unveiling through ticket and merchandise sales.

In addition, Galatasaray stores are bracing for a surge in demand for Osimhen-themed merchandise, including jerseys, scarves, and memorabilia.

Club officials estimate that the revenue raised on the day will account for approximately 7% of the total transfer cost, which includes €40m upfront and €35m in structured installments, alongside a sell-on clause.

Despite not kicking a ball yet in this stint, Osimhen remains a cult hero among Galatasaray supporters, having previously netted 37 goals and 8 assists during a stunning loan spell that led to a league and cup double.
