Kola, a Big Brother Naija 10/10 participant, has chosen to calm down in his pursuit of fellow housemate Dede.

Kola has expressed love for Dede, but she prefers a platonic connection, citing her romantic engagement outside the house as the reason.

Despite her answer, Kola has been pressing for a connection with her, questioning her closeness to other male housemates Jason Jae and Koyin.

Kola complained to numerous housemates on Tuesday, following his diary session with Biggie and therapy with Ibifubara, that Dede was messing with his emotions.

During a talk with Sabrina, Kola said that his position with Dede was beginning to resemble that of 2020 Lockdown roommates Ozo and Nengi, which he does not desire.

He vowed to take a step back from Dede, stressing that he hopes his team change the narrative of his situation with her from being like Ozo’s with Nengi.

Sabrina: You are the only one dedicated to her [Dede].

Kola: “She is giving mixed signals.”

Sabrina: “Only God knows the conversations she has with Koyin and Jason Jae.”

Kola: “I hope my team change the narrative of this Ozo and Nengi thing, I will do same when I come out.”

It would be recalled that during Big Brother Naija Lockdown Season, Ozo expressed romantic interest in Nengi, but she maintained a friendship with him, emphasising her relationship outside the house.

Despite her stance, Nengi’s behavior sometimes suggested she enjoyed Ozo’s attention and affection.

The situation leads to some viewers mocking and labelling Ozo “a simp.”
