Ghanaian philanthropist and brand influencer, Gifty Mensah Bonsu, has expressed the high sense of value she attaches to her fans and followers on social media.

Fondly called Adwoapretty by her fans, the beautiful lady from Ghana started content creation in 2020, after the global lockdown imposed by COVID-19 pandemic. She built her content around her strength, which borders largely on mimicking people’s sound, which uniquely stands her out among the droves of social media personalities.

Adwoapretty, a brand influencer, an all-round talent who is also a philanthropist, is one of the fast-emerging Ghanaian with massive followership on social media. She has 716,000 followers on TikTok, in addition to 41.1 million people who have liked her contents on the platform.

Being a celebrity brand influencer has exposed Tracy Mensah to opportunities of exploring other business frameworks. “My success and vision aimed at helping the needy and improving the lives of her family members,” she said.

According to Gifty Mensah, “I am the owner of the Pretty Charity Foundation LBG, a nonprofit organization that was founded in 2024.  Many people in need, as well as those who are ill and disabled, have had their lives changed by me.  Having wonderful testimonials from people I have assisted over the years fills me with happiness and tranquility.  I actually visit hospitals and give to orphanage homes to assist individuals who are unable to pay for their medical care.  As part of my fertility journey support initiative, I offer women clothing on Mother’s Day and support married women who are unable to conceive, despite social pressure to become pregnant after marriage.”

“Well, I won’t lie to you, it feels great to have another family on social media who loves me. They call me out when I’m wrong and cheer me on when I’m right,” Gifty Mensah said in an interview.

The social media space in Ghana is growing, and so is the level of the problems that have accompanied the advancement in technology.  Gifty Mendah Bonsu lamented the prevalence of cyberbullying despite being a popular social media influencer.

“I believe cyberbullying and cybercrimes need serious attention because we’re suffering from them a lot,” she bemoaned.
