At an exclusive launch event in Lagos, guests enjoyed guided tastings and storytelling that traced the brand’s journey from the rolling fields of Ireland to the buzzing heart of Lagos.
Speaking at the event, the Global Brand Ambassador for The Irishman Whiskey, James Kilgannon, said Nigeria has always been a priority because of its incredible energy and appreciation for quality experiences.
According to him, “The Irishman is about moments shared, conversations sparked and traditions honoured, and the brand is proud to share its heritage with Nigeria’s culture of connection and celebration.”
Building on this vision, Sudipto Chakraborty, the Head of Commercial at Ekulo International Limited, the official distributor of The Irishman in Nigeria, explained that the launch is about creating new experiences for Nigerian consumers.
He noted that The Irishman stands out for its authenticity and craftsmanship and expressed excitement at seeing how the whiskey will find a place in the country’s hospitality and lifestyle spaces.
