After a year of change, growth, and everything in between, Nigerian-born, UK-based artist Daniel Nwora is back with new sounds. His collaborative EP, ’22,’ was announced today (August 22, 2025) and is set to officially drop on August 29, 2025.
This EP is Daniel’s first release of the year. It features three songs that capture what it really felt like to be 22 in his life; messy, full of lessons and growth. Each of the songs is shaped by collaborations with artists and producers who were part of that journey.
The ’22’ EP opens with ’Phases’ a very raw, emotional fan-favorite with Love Abolade that first dropped in 2024. Following is “Moments,” a reflective track about change, time, and the process of becoming. The project concludes with “Praise You,” an uplifting anthem that is grounded in gratitude.
Each of the songs reflect a window into Daniel’s journey through loss, heartbreak, resilience, personal transformation and creative rebirth, all of which are framed in lush production and his vulnerability. The project is a collective diary, soundtracks of healing and hope which was shaped by a voice committed to telling real stories.
“‘22’ was the year that broke me open and helped me rebuild,” Daniel shares. “This EP is a tribute to the people, prayers, and processes that got me through. Each song feels like a conversation I had to have with myself, with God, and with the people in my life, And I look forward to looking back and reminiscing on them.
The EP brings together voices like Love Abolade, Udochi Nwagboso and BeNn. While the production list has the professional inclusion of Gbots, Daniel Nwora, Wav Chuks, Daniel Godson, Tymbre and DN Collective. With so many talented hands and voices shaping it, the project promises a listening experience that feels fresh, layered, and full of life.
