With a star-studded opening ceremony and premiere held at Lagos Marriott Hotel recently, Nigeria is set to witness the 10th season of foremost entrepreneurial reality TV show, The Next Titan.

Tagged: ‘The Unconventional’, the season promises to raise the bar by showcasing bold and innovative young Nigerians who will compete for a total prize of N50 million – with the grand prize winner smiling to the bank with N40 million. While the 1st runner-up will take home N5 million, the 2nd runner-up would get N3 million, and the 3rd runner-up N2 million.

Speaking at the event, Executive Producer of The Next Titan, Mide Akinlaja, described the milestone season as a celebration of resilience, creativity, and the entrepreneurial spirit that has defined the show for a decade.

“The Next Titan is not just a television show; it is a movement that demystifies entrepreneurship and ignites the entrepreneurial spirit of young Nigerians,” he said. “It proves that with just an idea, nurtured and scaled, young people can transform their lives, create jobs, and contribute to Nigeria’s socio-economic development.”

Akinlaja explained further that the show has become a launch pad for aspiring business leaders, taking them through a 10-week competition involving rigorous business tasks, boardroom processes, and mentorship from some of Nigeria’s most accomplished entrepreneurs.

According to him, “The Next Titan is designed as entertainment, but its primary purpose is to awaken the audacity and creativity of young Nigerians, encouraging them to take charge of their destinies.”

Daniel Lamberti, Betano’s Senior Business Development Manager, Africa, emphasized the synergy between the company’s vision and that of the show.

He said: “The Next Titan resonates deeply with us because it nurtures and showcases the next generation of Nigerian business leaders. Our 10-year journey as a global brand has been fueled by innovation, ambition and perseverance, the same values this show promotes. This partnership is more than sponsorship; it is a celebration of potential and a commitment to helping people achieve their best.”

Lamberti added that Betano, which operates in nearly 20 countries, would integrate interactive experiences into the show, further engaging audiences and inspiring resilience and creativity among Nigerian youths.

With the unveiling of the top 20 finalists and the promise of high-stakes business challenges ahead, expectations are high that The Next Titan Season 10 will not only entertain, but also cements its legacy as one of the nation’s most influential platforms for youth entrepreneurship.

The show’s other sponsors are FCMB, Sifax Group, CutStruct, Arik Air, Lifemate Furniture, Nikky Taurus, Jerma Wears, XANDA, and NITDA.
