Hollywood actor Robert Redford, best known for appearing in films like Butch Cassidy And The Sundance Kid and All The President’s Men, has died at the age of 89.

Reford’s passing was announced on Tuesday by his publicist, Cindi Berger, who disclosed that the former was surrounded by loved ones when he died.

“Robert Redford passed away on September 16, 2025, at his home at Sundance in the mountains of Utah – the place he loved, surrounded by those he loved.

“He will be missed greatly. The family requests privacy,” Berger stated.

Charles Robert Redford Jr. was born on August 18, 1936, and among his accolades were an Academy Award, a BAFTA Award, two Golden Globe Awards, and the Cecil B. DeMille Award.
