Lagos is set to experience a night of electrifying worship, heartfelt praise and transformative encounters, as the ninth edition of Luli Concert holds on Friday, October 3, 2025 at Tafawa Balewa Square, Onikan.

Organized by El Berachah Worship Ministry, for the Celestial Church of Christ, the annual event has become one of Nigeria’s premier gospel gatherings, attracting thousands of worshippers and millions of virtual participants from across the globe.

This year’s theme, ‘Garment of Praise’, inspired by Isaiah 61:3, serves as a powerful reminder that worship is both a divine response and spiritual weapon, even in times of trials.

According to the convener, Dr. Gbenga Daniel-Adebayo, the concert is more than a music event; it is a sacred altar of praise inspired by the Holy Spirit since its inception in 2016.

“Every song rendered, every word spoken, and every testimony shared at Luli Concert is an offering to God Almighty,” he declared.

The 2025 edition boasts a stellar lineup of award-winning gospel ministers including Yinka Alaseyori, Sola Allyson, Lilian Nneji, Kent Edunjobi, Bidemi Olaoba, Eniola Olusoga, Seyi Solagbade, Evang. Akin Adebayo aka Imoleayo, and Toluwanisings.

Joining them are Celestial Church of Christ Central Choir, Glorious Twins, Nazarite, Dotvocals and several other anointed voices. Together, they promise to deliver an unforgettable night of worship that will unite hearts under one banner: praise.

Chairperson of the Planning Committee, Yetunde Akinlalu, emphasized that the concert’s mission remains focused on cultivating vibrant worship among believers. “Despite the challenges our nation faces, there is so much to be grateful for. Praise is not just our duty; it’s our weapon. We must raise our voices this year in worship, prayer, and thanksgiving,” she said.

In keeping with its tradition of combining worship with community impact, Luli Concert will roll out several pre-event activities. These include a free medical outreach for underserved communities, Music Masterclass and Choirmasters Conference to groom the next generation of gospel creatives, as well as Health Fitness Walk (Luli Walk) designed to promote physical and mental wellbeing.

For emerging talents, the Open Mic Challenge will provide a platform to showcase their gifts, while a vigil will prepare the spiritual atmosphere ahead of the concert.

For the first time, the organizers are also introducing a “Back to School” initiative to support underprivileged children with educational materials. These impact-driven projects reflect the holistic vision of Luli Concert, not only to uplift spirits through worship but also to transform lives through acts of service.
