Nigerian comedian and author, Damilare Oluwasegun, popularly known as Asiricoomedy, is geared up for one of the most anticipated comedy concerts of the year, IDNYO — I Don’t Need Your Opinion, holding today, Sunday, September 28, 2025, at 7:00 PM at the prestigious Eko Hotels & Suites, Lagos.
Billed as his biggest outing yet, the event promises a night of clean, thought-provoking comedy infused with music, storytelling, and surprise performances.
Asiri, who has built a reputation for blending humour with depth and moral lessons, describes IDNYO as an overall upgrade on his previous shows. “This show is a reflection of the feats God has helped me to achieve through audacity and Divine courage. You will understand more after the show,” he said.
Beyond comedy, audiences can expect an unforgettable experience, as the night will feature seven surprise musical artistes and new creative elements aimed at keeping the energy vibrant. Ticket categories range from regular ₦10,000 to the Throne Package at ₦5 million, with each category offering unique perks including seating advantages, networking opportunities, and souvenirs. Asiricomedy’s choice of Eko Hotels & Suites reflects the growth of his brand and the demand for larger spaces after previous sold-out shows. “Our last Lagos event was packed to the brim, and we had to turn back many guests. This time, we knew we needed a bigger venue,” he explained.
