Sony has officially unveiled its latest ULT Power Sound series in Lagos, offering Nigerians a revolutionary option for home and outdoor entertainment. The series builds on Sony’s 2024 debut of ULT Power Sound in Nigeria, expanding its high-power portable audio lineup with lifestyle-ready designs.

The new speakers include the ULT Tower 9, ULT Field 5, ULT Field 3, and ULTMIC1, designed for personal, home, and on-the-go listening. The lineup delivers festival-level bass, portability, and smart connectivity to match Nigeria’s energetic lifestyle.

Managing Director, Sony Middle East and Africa, Jobin Joejoe, said the ULT Tower 9, ULT Field 5, and ULT Field 3 bring sound experiences that reflect the vibrant spirit of Nigerians. Speaking at the launch, he noted that Nigeria’s Independence Day—a moment of pride, unity, and celebration—was the perfect occasion to introduce the new series. “Music is at the heart of Nigerian culture, and at Sony, we are committed to innovations that elevate entertainment and connect deeply with our customers’ lifestyles,” he said.

Senior Manager, Personal Entertainment at Sony Middle East and Africa, Arafat Syed, highlighted the ULT Tower 9’s features, including karaoke and guitar inputs and a TV Sound Booster for enhanced audio-visual experiences. “More than just playing music, the ULT Tower 9 transforms your space into a full-on party with 360° Party Lights and the ability to link up to 100 compatible speakers, syncing music and lighting seamlessly.”

The ULT Field 5, available in Off-White and Black, also features 360° Party Lights, Party Connect, Multipoint Connection, Bluetooth® Fast Pair, and a USB charging port.

The ULT Field 3 is compact yet delivers powerful bass with waterproof and dustproof protection, ideal for poolside, park, and outdoor adventures. Its shoulder straps allow multiple carrying options for bikes, skateboards, or on foot.

The ULTMIC1 wireless microphones enhance solo or duet performances, pairing seamlessly with the ULT Power Sound series to deliver exceptional vocal clarity.

The launch event featured live demonstrations, curated listening sessions, and giveaways, attracting influencers, media houses, lifestyle and tech bloggers, and industry partners. Special guests, including Jayonair, Sheggz, Meshkiey, Munachiabi, Pretty Precious, Oluwaseunayo, Tomiwa Jonathan, Mmesoma, Legendary Ben, and Victoria King, shared live updates on social media, sparking online buzz.

Attendees also enjoyed karaoke and quizzes, with business partners competing for exciting prizes, adding energy and fun to the evening.
