After six successful editions of his signature comedy showcase, Funbi Funbi is set to reinvent the experience as Funbi’s Bus returns for its seventh edition on November 2, 2025, at Glover Memorial Hall, Lagos.

Unlike previous years, this edition will trade jokes for jams, with Funbi Funbi announcing that the show will feature 90 percent music and 10 percent comedy, rebranded as ‘Lagos Rave’.

“You’ll hardly see a brand consistent for seven years,” Funbi said. “Funbi’s Bus is one of those few. So, this year, we’re throwing a party. It’s a rave – Lagos Rave!”

Since its launch, the show has become a Lagos cultural staple, combining live performances, skits and Funbi’s street-smart humour.

Reflecting on past editions, he credited the audience’s loyalty as the highlight: “Every episode has been unique. What stands out is how so many people turn out, buy tickets and show love.”

This year, the comedian says he’s embracing Lagos’ rhythm with a lineup of A-list artistes yet to be revealed. “Lagos is about dance and vibe, and that’s what we’re giving,” he added.
