The Okachi Charity Foundation (OCF) in partnership with the Police Campaign Against Cultism and Other Vices (POCACOV) for the commemoration of the International Day of the Girl Child 2025 was held on a good note with the theme “Girls’ Vision for the Future” with the sub-theme “My Identity, My Power: Creating Safer Spaces for the Nigerian Girl Child.”
OCF has commended the POCACOV event stating that the initiative is a vital step toward empowering and protecting the Nigerian girl child.
The Foundation expressed appreciation for POCACOV’s commitment to education, mentorship, and advocacy, highlighting its leadership in mobilizing communities toward positive behavioral change. “We are honored to identify with this initiative and proud to stand beside POCACOV in this transformative effort,” the Foundation stated.
As part of its contribution to the event, OCF pledged to donate 200 size books to support the educational and creative segments of the program. In addition, two volunteers from the Foundation will be on ground to assist with on-site coordination, reinforcing their hands-on support for the initiative.
OCF further reaffirmed its dedication to fostering partnerships that promote advocacy, education, and empowerment for young people. The Foundation commended the collaborative relationship with POCACOV and pledged continued support for future initiatives aimed at nurturing a generation of confident, responsible, and empowered youth.
