For over a decade, Oloye Ifaseyi Ifasanmi Bamikole, widely known as Oba Ela Agbaye, has continued to make a lasting impact through the Oba Ela Foundation, a humanitarian initiative dedicated to empowering youths, women, Men and members of the Ìṣẹ̀ṣé community across Ekiti State and its environs.

Unlike many social media–driven philanthropists, Oba Ela Agbaye has maintained a low profile, quietly funding life-changing projects without publicity or personal promotion. Through his foundation, he has reportedly spent billions of naira on empowerment schemes, poverty alleviation, and community development, benefiting not only Ìṣẹ̀ṣé adherents but also people of diverse faiths and backgrounds over the last 10 years.

Oba Ela Agbaye first gained widespread public attention following the Tani Olohun case, when he gifted the controversial activist a 2012 Toyota Highlander SUV in recognition of his courage to stand firm in his belief despite opposition from religious extremists.

His generosity has remained consistent, particularly during his annual Ifa Festival held every October 15th, where numerous beneficiaries receive support through the foundation. Over the years, more than 100 motorcycles, grinding machines, cars, and various work tools have been distributed to artisans, traders, and small business owners to promote self-reliance and sustainability.

At this year’s edition of the Ifa Festival, held on October 15, 2025, the foundation once again demonstrated its commitment to humanitarian service by awarding ₦1 million business grants to two individuals, while three Ìṣẹ̀ṣé devotees also went home with brand new cars.

Despite the prevailing economic challenges, Oba Ela Agbaye has reaffirmed his commitment to uplifting the less privileged and supporting cultural preservation through empowerment and spiritual guidance.
The Oba Ela Foundation continues to stand as a beacon of hope and a testament to the enduring spirit of Yoruba tradition, philanthropy, and leadership rooted in humility.
