Premier League: Liverpool Host United in Super Showdown
The Premier League returns with massive fixtures after the international break.
Action kicks off on Saturday at 12:30pm as Nottingham Forest welcome Chelsea to the City Ground. Enzo Maresca’s side are regaining confidence after a big win over Liverpool, but Forest’s home form makes this a tricky encounter.
At 3pm, Manchester City host Everton at the Etihad, with Pep Guardiola’s side chasing consistency after edging Brentford before the break. Later, Fulham host Arsenal at 5:30pm, as Mikel Arteta’s men aim to protect their spot at the top of the table.
On Sunday, Tottenham Hotspur face Aston Villa at 2pm.
This will be followed by the weekend’s headline clash, Liverpool FC against Manchester United at 4:30pm at Antfield with 61,276 capacity seating.
Arne Slot’s side will be desperate to stop their slide after three straight losses, while Ruben Amorim’s United are hunting back-to-back league wins.
The round concludes on Monday night as West Ham United host Brentford at 8pm.

La Liga: Barca Seek Redemption, Real Madrid Face Tough Test
In Spain, the focus falls on the Catalan and Madrid derbies as the top clubs fight to recover momentum. On Saturday at 3:15pm, Barcelona face Girona in a tense local clash. After back-to-back defeats to PSG and Sevilla, Hansi Flick’s men must respond quickly against a desperate Girona side battling relegation.
Later that night, Atlético Madrid host Osasuna at 8pm, needing three points to keep their top-four charge alive. On Sunday at 8pm, Real Madrid visit Getafe in a tricky away fixture. Despite their recent loss to Atlético, Xabi Alonso’s men remain top but face another physical challenge at the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez.
