The ongoing feud between Regina Daniels and her billionaire husband, Ned Nwoko, has escalated into a storm of shocking allegations, with her brother dragging the Senator over his son’s death and arrest of Sammy, another brother of the Nollywood actress, by policemen.
The marriage of the representative of Delta North Senatorial District and the Nollywood actress became a subject of interest weeks back.
This followed a video some weeks back in which Daniels alleged violence and Nwoko’s response that she was abusing drugs.
On Monday night, Sweezy Daniels made a fiery social media post alleging that one of Nwoko’s sons allegedly died in the United Kingdom from a drug overdose, suffering heart failure, and seizures.

Sweezy wrote: “Accusing my siblings of drugs?
“What killed your son in the UK?
“Died of heart failure and seizure due to excessive intake of drugs!
“Yet nobody heard shit.
“You better bring down all this nonsense because the media will hear more than what they shouldn’t hear!
“You stand on integrity abi?
“Media dey turn you on?”
The claim has not been independently verified, and Nwoko has yet to issue a response regarding the alleged death.
The social media outburst came amid claims that Regina’s siblings were being targeted and harassed.
Her elder brother, Lawrence Daniels, accused Nwoko of hypocrisy and domestic violence, claiming the senator had admitted to slapping Regina “twice” to “correct her” while publicly denying any physical abuse.
He said: “You dey confirm to me say I slapped her twice, which any husband would do to correct his wife.
“But went on Channels to say I’ve never hit any woman.
“How, bro, how?”
Lawrence also revealed that another brother, Sammy Daniels, was allegedly detained by police at Ogombo Police Station, Lekki-Ajah, Lagos State.
He claimed: “Police beating Sammy currently at Ogombo Police Station!
“This media go scatter because everyone should be ready to face the consequences of their actions.
“If anything happens to any of my siblings, hold Ned Nwoko responsible!”
Lawrence further accused Nwoko of being “a narcissist” and using his political influence to oppress his family, warning that the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) could stage a protest at the senator’s residence if the situation persisted.
The accusations come after Regina publicly alleged that her siblings’ arrests were orchestrated to pressure her into returning to her husband’s home and undergoing a “rehabilitation” programme.
Nwoko, meanwhile, has denied orchestrating any arrests, claiming that Regina is battling substance abuse, a claim her family strongly refutes.
Adding to the storm, Regina’s mother, Rita Daniels, released an emotional video defending her daughter and calling out Nwoko for allegedly “using his power to silence” the family.
Rita spoke angrily about ingratitude and betrayal:
She said: “The same way you went up, you will come down.
“If you think you can bite the finger that fed you, you will go down.”
She also questioned Nwoko’s wealth, criticising how Regina was being spoken of publicly.
She said: “Which money do you have?
“Regina is the one covering you.”
The Daniels family insists that Regina’s mental health is fine and that the conflict stems from control and mistreatment, not drug abuse.
Meanwhile, the public remains divided with some demanding evidence for the overdose claim, while others called on Nwoko to speak up.
