The Jorjor Mother & Child Foundation has been launched at the Abuja Continental Hotel.

Speaking at the launch on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, the Founder of the Foundation, Mrs. Anjor David Obande, said its primary mission is to improve the lives of disadvantaged women and children in various communities across Nigeria.

“The Jorjor Mother & Child Foundation seeks to bridge the gap in maternal and infant care through community outreach, health education and partnerships with key stakeholders in the health and social sector,” observed Mrs Obande.

To achieve this goal, the Jorjor Mother and Child Foundation founder further pledged to amongst other things, provide essential needs for women and children survival; sponsor orphans; provide grant assistance to widows, and construct amenities such as boreholes and schools in different communities across the country.

She revealed that what drives her passion is the desire for service and that has helped her foundation to provide for some in need already.

The unveiling ceremony was attended by a representative of the Senate Leader, Senator Opeyemi Michael Bamidele; Minister of Women Affairs, Hajiya Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim; some members of the National Assembly, as well as well-meaning Nigerians from different walks of life and partners.
