The Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide has successfully concluded its 85th Annual Conference and Convention, held from November 2nd to 9th, 2025, in an atmosphere of thanksgiving, unity, and spiritual renewal.
The week-long event drew a large attendance of members and delegates from Europe, America, and Canada, as well as from the North, East, West, and Southern regions of Nigeria. It served as a significant platform for worship, fellowship, and reflection on the Church’s continued growth and mission.
As part of the activities marking the convention, several landmark projects were commissioned, including residential buildings, guest houses, a modern lawn tennis court, a volleyball court, and conference staff quarters. These developments reflect the Church’s commitment to infrastructural growth, member welfare, and excellence in service delivery.
A major highlight of the conference was the high Ranks Apostolic ordination of more than 800 Members into Apostolic Calling, comprising Most Senior Special Apostles, Senior Special Apostles, and Special Apostles. The ordination ceremony underscored the Church’s dedication to leadership development and the propagation of the Gospel. In addition, Posthumous Awards and Elevations were conferred on distinguished past leaders of the Church across various levels and ministries, in recognition of their selfless service and lasting contributions to the growth of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide. Among those who were elevated are Special Apostle Prophet G. O Fakeye and Special Apostle Prophet Akinrele, the First Supervising Prophet.
The convention also witnessed the inauguration of seven new Districts, 22 Model Churches, and Parishes.
In the spirit of unity and fellowship, sporting competitions were organized among the various ministries and councils, featuring football, lawn tennis, and volleyball tournaments. The football tournament, which attracted trophies and cash prizes, saw the Prophetic Council emerge as champions, while the Evangelical Council and the Pastoral Council secured second and third places respectively.
In a similar vein, Most Senior Special Apostle Evang. Engr. Emmanuel Aderemi Awode emerged as the winner of the first edition of the Baba Aladura Lawn Tennis Tournament, a new initiative aimed at promoting health, recreation, and camaraderie among members. The sporting activities were also part of the preparations for the forthcoming AYO Ni O Professional Sports Teams, designed to encourage youth participation and talent development within the Church.
Crowning the week of spiritual and physical engagements, the Supreme Head (Olori) and Spiritual Father, His Most Eminence Prophet Dr. Emmanuel Abiodun Adewale Alogbo, JP, FNACM, D.D.M, declared the 2026 Church Year as the “ Year of Great Mercies .” The prophetic declaration was received with joy and renewed faith, as members looked forward to a year of divine compassion, restoration, and abundant blessings.
The Church also observed and acknowledges the tremendous Socio-Economic gains under the Presidency of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu but quickly expressed with disdain the unprecedented displacement and violence being experienced by Christians in Mostly Christian dominated areas – South-South, Kaduna and Southern region of Nigeria, etc.
The 85th Annual Conference and Convention stands as a historic testament to the unity, progress, and enduring faith of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide.
