Senator Ned Nwoko has said he will not take back his estranged wife, Regina Daniels, offering reasons for his decision.

The representative of Delta North Senatorial District made this position known in a statement that was issued by his media office.

In a statement on social media, Nwoko said Daniels’ behaviour and utterances called for suspicion.

He claimed she has been under the influence of hard drugs, leading to violent and irrational incidents, adding that he is still encouraging her to seek therapy.

The statement said: “Senator Ned Nwoko is not chatting with Regina and does not want her back in the house.

“All he is insisting on is that she should be encouraged to go to therapy.”

In the statement, a WhatsApp message between Nwoko and Daniels was also shared.

The WhatsApp message, with a dateline of October 17, 2025, was said to be Nwoko’s last communication with Daniels.

The statement added: “It is important to state that Regina continues to be completely under the influence of hard drugs and whatever she says is a lie from the pit of hell.

“For example, the allegations of drugs and sex are a figment of her wild imagination and can never be substantiated.”
