At 88, Chief Olu Benson Lulu-Briggs, a billionaire businessman and founder of Moni Pulo Limited, could be said to have really lived up to an advanced age.

Even as he lay supine on a sofa in his palatial mansion in Abonema on December 26, 2018, everyone around him still prayed to God to grant him a speedy recovery.

Barely 24 hours after, his children received news of the sudden death of their father in what seemed a very strange circumstance, and probably from the most unexpected quarter, so to speak.

The grim news, which was allegedly disrespectfully conveyed by his wife, Seinye, from Accra in Ghana, immediately provoked a barrage of questions about the circumstances leading to the death of Lulu-Briggs, who was an oil and gas mogul.

According to them, Seinye was economical with the truth about the death of Lulu-Briggs. One of her sins, they said, was that she failed to inform any of the children about her trip to Ghana with the obviously ailing billionaire.

The battle raged on for so long that it caused bad blood between Seinye and Dumo, the son of the oil giant.

Though many top personalities have intervened in the feud, they refused to sheathe their swords as well as refused to see eye to eye.

As the family remembered their late patriarch last December on the seventh anniversary of his death, our source revealed that the war continues to rage as Dumo warned Seinye to drop his father’s name. It was gathered that he has taken her to court to effect this.
