The Premier League’s January transfer window was defined by heavy spending, bold reinvestment, and a continued focus on young, high-potential talent, with Antoine Semenyo emerging as the most expensive signing of the month.

According to Sky Sports, the following players were the 10 most expensive signings involving Premier League clubs during the January transfer window:

1) Antoine Semenyo – Manchester City
From Bournemouth – £62.5m–£64m (~€72m)
Semenyo was the standout signing of the window, with City breaking the £60m mark to secure the forward.

2) Jeremy Jacquet – Liverpool
From Rennes – £55.5m–£60m (~€63.6m)
Liverpool reached an agreement for the highly rated 20-year-old centre-back, who is set to move to Anfield in the summer.

3) Jørgen Strand Larsen – Crystal Palace
From Wolves – £43m–£48m (~€49.7m)
Palace backed their attack with a major investment in the Norwegian striker.

4) Conor Gallagher – Tottenham Hotspur
From Atlético Madrid – £34.7m–£35m (~€40m)
Tottenham quickly reinvested funds from player sales to bring Gallagher back to the Premier League.

5) Brennan Johnson – Crystal Palace
From Tottenham Hotspur – ~£35m (~€40m)
Johnson’s move formed part of Palace’s aggressive winter spending.

6) Lucas Paquetá – Flamengo
From West Ham United – ~£35.5m (~€42m)
Although an outgoing deal, the transfer ranks among the window’s highest fees involving a Premier League club.

7) Oscar Bobb – Fulham
From Manchester City – £27m–£31m (~€31.2m)
The City academy graduate completed a permanent move to Fulham.

8) Taty Castellanos – West Ham United
From Lazio – ~£27m (~€29m)
West Ham added attacking depth with the Argentine forward.

9) Rayan – Bournemouth
From Vasco da Gama – ~£24.7m (~€28.5m)
The Cherries invested heavily in the young Brazilian prospect.

10) Marc Guéhi – Manchester City
From Crystal Palace – ~£20m
City rounded out the list with a defensive addition late in the window.
