The Ogun State Chapter of the Freelance and Independent Broadcasters’ Association of Nigeria (OGUN FIBAN) has felicitated with Prince Gboyega Nasir Isiaka (GNI), Member representing Yewa North/Imeko-Afon Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, on the occasion of his birthday.
In a statement signed by the Chairman of OGUN FIBAN, Hon. Chief Olalekan Shoyinka (Ayinla Egba), the association described Prince Isiaka as a “distinguished statesman, accomplished administrator and visionary leader” whose dedication to effective representation, economic development, and inclusive governance has earned him wide respect across Ogun State and beyond.
The statement highlighted Prince Isiaka’s leadership at the National Assembly, particularly as Chairman of the House Committee on National Planning and Economic Development, noting his active role in shaping national planning and sustainable economic growth policies.
Ogun FIBAN also expressed appreciation for Prince Isiaka’s consistent support for the media industry, saying his engagement with journalists demonstrates an understanding of the media’s strategic role in nation-building, transparency, and democratic consolidation.
The association commended his contributions to the recently held 2026 World Radio Day celebration in Abeokuta, where he served as Guest of Honour, noting that his participation added “prestige, credibility and depth” to the event.
“His unwavering encouragement of ethical journalism and responsible broadcasting continues to strengthen the bridge between leadership and the people, fostering an informed citizenry and promoting participatory governance,” the statement read.
The association prayed for Prince Isiaka’s continued good health, divine wisdom, and renewed strength to serve his constituents and the nation with integrity.
“On this special occasion, we celebrate not only his birth but also his impactful life of service, resilience and commitment to socio-economic development,” the statement concluded.
