The National Prayer Support Group for Good Governance has unveiled its inaugural national prayer campaign in preparation for 2027 general elections.

The inaugural conference held at the National Center for Women Development, Abuja, brought together government representatives, party leaders, notable clerics from both Muslim and Christian communities.

In a statement shared with Sunday PUNCH, the Director-General of NPSGGG, Alhaji Abdul-Hakeem Atilade, emphasised the critical role of faith and unity in achieving peace, stability, and progress in the country.

He stated that the prayer initiative would be replicated across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory through state executives, aiming to foster collective intercession for good governance and electoral success for the All Progressives Congress.

He said, “Beyond prayer, the group is dedicated to combining spiritual intercession with active civic participation, including voter education and mobilisation efforts.

“Members will conduct door-to-door campaigns encouraging citizens to register, collect their Permanent Voter Cards, and participate fully in the democratic process.”

Atilade called on supporters of President Bola Tinubu to join the group morally, financially, and strategically.
