The Prayer & Support for the Nigerian Armed Forces and Other Security Agencies has joined millions of Nigerians across the world in celebrating the 84th birthday of the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye.
In a statement issued on Monday and signed by the Convener of PSNAFSA Ambassador Mary Fatile, the group expressed profound gratitude to God for sparing the life of the renowned cleric for another year.
The organisation described Pastor Adeboye as “an enduring beacon of hope and guidance for millions across Nigeria and beyond,” crediting his life of service, humility, and spiritual devotion with fostering national unity, inspiring generations, and offering comfort to the vulnerable.
The statement read, “PSNAFSA expresses its profound gratitude to Almighty God for granting Pastor Adeboye another year of life. Pastor Adeboye’s life of service, humility, and devotion to spiritual leadership has made him an enduring beacon of hope and guidance for millions across Nigeria and beyond.
“Through his prayers, teachings, and personal example, he has fostered unity, inspired generations, and offered comfort to the vulnerable and marginalized.”
PSNAFSA particularly eulogised the RCCG General Overseer for his consistent intercession on behalf of Nigeria, saying his prayers for peace, national stability, and the well-being of citizens reflected the depth of his patriotism and spiritual leadership.
“We pray that God continues to bless him with long life, vibrant health, renewed strength, and divine wisdom to sustain his transformative ministry for years to come,” the statement read.
The group also reaffirmed its commitment to supporting national peace and security through prayer and advocacy, noting that Adeboye’s exemplary life and ministry remained a source of inspiration for its work.
Pastor Adeboye, born on March 2, 1942, in Ifewara, Osun State, has led the RCCG for decades, transforming it into one of the largest Christian denominations in the world with parishes spanning over 190 countries.
