Legendary Canadian singer Celine Dion has spoken about her return to the stage after years of battling an incurable disease known as Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS).
In a now-trending video posted on her Instagram page to commemorate her 58th birthday, the singer announced her return with a concert series in Paris, France, beginning September 12 and ending October 14, 2026.
While appreciating her fans for their prayers and love, Celine Dion said, “You have helped me in ways that I cannot describe. I’m truly so fortunate to have your support.
“I have missed you so much. I’m singing again, and even doing a little bit of dancing”, Celine announced.
The announcement came nearly three years after she cancelled her world tour following a battle with the neurological disorder.
Celine was diagnosed with Stiff Person Syndrome in 2022, an incurable disorder that causes uncontrollable muscle twitching.
She made her first public appearance in 2024 at the 66th Grammy Awards Ceremony, and she has since not appeared in public.
