Founder of Omega Power Ministries, Chibuzor Chinyere, has announced additional support for a young autistic man popularly known as Aboy, following his recent marriage.

He disclosed in a post on X on Sunday that Aboy, now named Elijah, received a Lexus car gift, while he and his wife were also given a plot of land.

“Former Aboy, now Elijah, has received a Lexus car gift, while both he and his wife were also given a plot of land,” the tweet read.

He further revealed that Elijah has been appointed as an ambassador for the church’s free school for children with autism and Down syndrome.

“Today, April 5, 2026, he has also been appointed as an Ambassador for OPM Free School for Autism and Down Syndrome,” he said.

The development comes days after the pastor officiated the marriage between the autistic man and an older woman, a move that had sparked widespread reactions on social media.

The wedding, held on March 29, followed public backlash over a viral video in which the cleric sought a wife for the man.

According to Chinyere, the groom was abandoned as a child and raised under his care at the church.

The pastor had also announced a series of financial and welfare packages for the couple, including millions of naira, accommodation, and other incentives aimed at supporting their union.

Despite initial criticism surrounding the arrangement, the cleric has continued to share updates, expressing optimism about the couple’s future and the man’s development.
